This summer, Syracuse University’s College of Engineering and Computer Science will offer research opportunities for seven talented and local high school students who are entering their senior year this fall.
The Summer Research Internship Program for High School Students is a six-week, non-residential program in which students work directly with SU research professors and students on a research project in biomaterials, the environment, energy, online privacy, or human health. The program begins on June 27 and concludes on August 9 with a presentation and poster session. Students will work 25 hours a week and will be provided a stipend for their work.
This program is supported through funding from Tom and Linda McCausland. Tom McCausland ’64 is the former CEO and president of Siemens Medical Solutions USA.
