About Matt Sheridan
Matt Sheridan ’92 is the senior director of augmented reality go-to-market and has been a part of PTC’s augmented reality segment since its inception in 2016. H has been active in product development for over twenty years, beginning his career with Baker Hughes Processing, designing large slurry filtration devices for the chemical industry. Sheridan began his PTC career assisting customers like NASA and Lockheed Martin implement CAD and PLM software to streamline their design processes. For many years, he managed teams responsible for connecting technology to business value. These experiences inspired him to write the book A+ Demonstrations: Excellence in Sales Engineering, a guide for selling software.
Matt holds a BS in aerospace engineering from Syracuse University and an MS in mechanical engineering from the University of Rhode Island. He is also a speaker, recently delivering talks at Ombud’s User Conference and several PTC Global Forum events.
