Solomon Associates, the leading performance improvement company for the global energy industry, has announced that Charles J. Reith, Jr. ’83 has officially assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer, upon the retirement of Dale A. Emanuel, the former President and CEO. Reith previously served as acting President, during the transition period.

Reith is a graduate of Syracuse University’s civil engineering program and began his career at O’Brien & Gere Engineers in Syracuse. He relocated to Virginia Beach in 1992 to manage O’Brien & Gere’s regional office. Subsequently, he joined Malcolm Pirnie and then moved on to Solomon in 2004 where he rapidly moved up to Executive Vice President of Consulting, Business Development, and Marketing. Mr. Reith spent the last four years in the Middle East as the company’s Regional Vice President and established Solomon’s first offices in Bahrain and Abu Dhabi. As President and CEO, he will be based at Solomon’s headquarters in Dallas, Texas.
