Assistant or Associate Professor – Tenure/Tenure Track
Syracuse University’s Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS) in the College of Engineering and Computer Science invites applications for a tenure-track or tenured faculty appointment at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
The Department has distinguished itself for its strengths in the research areas of cyber engineering and assurance, cognitive wireless networks, energy conservation, and data analytics. Additionally, the Central New York region is emerging as a center of expertise for UAV technology.
The Department seeks strong candidates whose research and teaching expertise aligns with the strategic direction of the Department. Candidates in all areas of computer science and computer engineering are encouraged to apply.
A successful candidate is expected to develop and lead high-quality research, attract external funding, and show excellence in teaching and mentoring. A senior candidate should have a distinguished track record of scholarship.

Professor of Practice – Non-Tenure Track
Syracuse University’s College of Engineering and Computer Science seeks faculty who share our commitment to excellence in learning, teaching, and innovation within a global community of scholars. In Fall 2016, the College will begin offering existing master’s degree programs in an innovative online learning format that includes small, intimate classes, hands-on experiences, interactive coursework and live, face-to-face online classes blended with asynchronous lecture videos. Initial offerings will be MS degree programs in Cyber Security, Computer Engineering, and Computer Science, with an optional focus on Computational Data Science. Full-time residence in Syracuse, NY is not required.
