Engineering & Computer Science Students Help With Puerto Rico Relief

College of Engineering & Computer Science graduate student Yapan Liu and seniors Brooke Waldon and Ivy Christensen traveled to Puerto Rico in December along with 21 other SU students in to help with recovery work.

The team assembled 140 portable water filtration systems and went door to door to distribute them along with 200 FEMA supplied food packages and 65 hygiene kits. Students also cleaned and sanitized a house that flooded during Hurricane Maria.
