The demand for engineers and computer scientists in the fields of computing and electrical systems is ever growing and continuously evolving. We are committed to preparing students to pursue their career goals. We encourage our students to take advantage of the full suite of support services offered by the College and the University.
Our faculty are active in the research community and they bring what they are doing in their labs into the classroom. Faculty act as student advisors beginning in their sophomore year of study. This gives students the opportunity to build relationships with faculty and learn more about the work they are doing and how it impacts the world around them.
Being a student in the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science is a challenging and rewarding pursuit. Students in our department are able to take advantage of a number of opportunities including study abroad, internships, research, and exploring the over 100 minors available across campus.
